♀️♀️♀️♀️ V1 ♀️♀️♀️♀️
You’re in my sights
Gonna cut you down to size
Gonna make you realize
Ain’t no forgiveness coming
I’ll never let it go
What ya did is terminal
♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️ PRE ♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️
I wanna tell you but I cant
I wanna show you - but I can’t
I wanna be there but I can’t
Now it’s all I’ll ever know
I wanna show you how / but its
Nothing I could ever tell you
No words would eeeven / get there // SOMETIMES IT FEELS LIKE HELL(2)
It’s all within you
♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️ CHORUS ♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️
Honestly
Now It’s yours to keep
Your inner peace
Just be like the water
Be serene
How you ought to be
I can clearly see
You’ll be like the water
♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️ V2 ♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️
See you sometime never
I meant it when said
It had all gone to your head
Don’t say something clever
I can’t bear to hear
You bring me to tears

PARADISCO
a song by Volleyball
Paradisco Belzouki
Photos of actual Paradisco by Jordan Woods
Out in a forest hut in Kent, this song was one of the first we wrote as Volleyball. The heart of Paradisco can be found there, sleeping softly, nestled under a synth. There was a spark in the air among the falling rain on that autumn eve and the instrumental and vocal fell into place naturally.
Human relationships can be the best and worst thing ever, and sometimes it’s hard to realise when your mind’s in turmoil. Paradisco honours an inner sanctuary that we all have access to. It was written as an in-the-moment reminder to forgive and forget, because inner peace is a place that is always accessible.
Instrumentally, the themes play off this, with a relaxed, self assured beat that winds into a massive moment of letting go. The song takes on a more driving, momentous pace as it evolves, balancing an inner calm with an outward burst of energy.
